100 Word Challenge: Remembrance.

Today, Julia from Julia’s Place gave us another photo prompt for the 100 word challenge for grown ups:
Remembering all of the soldiers that were loved and then lost;
Every husband, every father, every brother, every son, never forgot.
Men went into their battles so very long ago;
Each of them more courageous than we will ever know..
Marching together forwards, they entered into a world war;
Braving horrific scenes they’d never have seen before.
Remember our ancestors, wear our red poppies with pride;
Always so very thankful that they were always on our side.
November the eleventh, at 11 a.m. we get,
Customary silence for 2 minutes; lest we forget.
England remembers. We will remember them.
