Sara from Mum Turned Mom wanted to know about our favourite season for this week’s #ThePrompt…we’re halfway through mine! What’s yours?
Jumpers and jeans,
A cosy good look.
Snuggling indoors,
With a good book.
Clocks going back,
Nights drawing in.
Hallowe’en, fireworks,
Make a big din.
Leaves looking lovely,
Red, orange, gold.
Aside from evergreens,
Trees looking bald.
Changeable weather,
Sunshine, then rain.
Time flying by,
Soon be Christmas again.
Oh, darling Autumn,
My favourite of seasons.
Much nicer than Winter,
For so many reasons!

This really sums up Autumn for me so very beautifully. I love it. I have included this on the BritMums round-up today. Thank you for linking to Prose for Thought 🙂 x

Oh thank you Vicky 🙂 Will have to go and check out the others 🙂 x
Autumn is the best, isn’t it? It’s an excuse to cuddle up in bed with hot drinks without the real ugly sides of winter. And eveyrthing is so pretty. You’ve definitely caught all of the best bits here. x

Perfect! I love Autumn too, for all the reasons you give, I’m not looking forward to Winter… All indications are it’s going to be another bad one for us! Thanks so much for linking to #ThePrompt and apologies for being a bit late commenting, Halloween and my in-laws arriving scuppered my day yesterday!

Oh sweet Sara, you’re hardly late…I’m still commenting on last week’s silent Sundays! 😉 Hope you all had a fun Hallowe’en x
That sums up autumn very nicely. If only it did not lead to winter and the crippling cold! #theprompt
