You may have seen on your supermarket shelves some new goodies from Udi’s. Despite trying to stick to a diet I couldn’t resist the opportunity to try some of the latest range for myself and was delighted when a box of Udiliciousness arrived on my doorstep 🙂
A few lovely snacking options inside, it was hard to know what to start with! I did know I must only try one as, though these are a better option than usual wheat-based snacks, they are most definitely not low-calorie!
Since arriving in the UK in 2013, Udis now have 47 products in their range, though, sadly, no longer my very favourite mince pies. This is probably for the good of my waistline but I did tell them I was miffed at their disappearance!
I was having a TV catch-up and went for the raisin clusters. The best way to describe these is mini cornflake cakes with raisins and smothered in chocolate – I told you these aren’t low fat! They are utterly lovely though and I enjoyed them so much I neglected to take a picture for you!
The Cheese Puffs were next and it won’t take a genius to work out what I was hoping for! I’m happy to tell you these are very much like those other savoury snacks 🙂 The look and the taste are pretty spot on; well done Udis.
The other savoury option are the new Tortilla Chips. Like you no doubt, I would love these smothered in melted cheese or dipped in a dollop of sour cream and chives…must pay a little attention to my diet though and compromised by having them as accompaniment to my Weight Watchers soup!
That turned out to be a brilliant idea which continues to ease the bread and butter craving when soup is on the menu 🙂
Last, but, and trust me on this, by no means least were the Caramel Clusters. I remembered to Instagram them before I scoffed the lot too!
Gorgeous and tasty and not too sweet.
Which were my favourite? Can’t choose. I’ll go as far as to say the sweet rather than savoury, but, they’re all a lovely treat now and again.
Everything in moderation. Except water and green things apparently. Boring!
Are you sweet or savoury? Which of these would you like to try?
*I was sent a box of sample products to try from Udis for the purposes of this review. All opinions remain my own.
