Some of you will know I’m in the midst of having some building work done which will result in a shiny new kitchen being fitted. None of you will surprised that the cabinet fronts I’ve chosen aren’t white or wooden. They’re going to be Aubergine 🙂
As my mum rightly pointed out, a lot of my current purple accessories won’t go so of course this means I’m having to spend my time browsing for new bits and pieces to adorn the new space!
You know I already love Red Candy so I was thrilled when they offered to send me something new…they may love red but anything bold and bright is good with them…hence the tag line of ‘Shut up beige!’ which I love!
What did I get?
I got a Tuckit. Looks so much nicer than the old corkboard I currently have stuck on a cupboard door! Lovely that I don’t have to stick pins in photos and cards too, they just slip into the little fabric pockety things 🙂
The box says ‘photo display’ but it’s very versatile I’ve found. Mine isn’t hung yet as chaos is reigning right now but here’s an idea of what I’m using it for…
When I’m off my diet I can see the odd takeaway menu going in there and, hopefully, concert tickets and things so I can remember where they are! There will always be a photo of my darling nephew but it will change as he gets older.
So. I’m going purple again but, as you can imagine, Red Candy have pretty much any colour accessory your heart may desire…
I mustn’t buy anything until I see my new cupboard fronts in situ and then determine the exact shade of purple I’m going for. Although I am liking the more practical but still amazingly funky greys I’m seeing which will perfectly match my worktop and flooring…decisions decisions!
There’s a few things I could quite possibly need 🙂
See what I mean?
Are you all practical or fun and colourful in your kitchen? I think I’m a combination of the two but if that kettle gets made in aubergine I’m having it!
I’m also really liking the Beatles cushions amongst the fab new stuff that Red Candy have to offer, but, I’m only shopping for kitchen things…at the moment!
Two questions for you. Do you like my Red Candy choices, and, what would go in your Tuckit?
* The Umbra Tuckit was gifted to me for the purpose of this review. All views, as always, are my own.
